EU Ambassador presents credentials to President Ruto

Today, H.E Andreas Peschke officially takes up his duties as the European Union Ambassador to Kenya, after presenting his credentials to President William Samoei Ruto

While presenting his credentials, Ambassador Peschke noted that the European Union and Kenya have had a longstanding relationship.

Ambassador Peschke recalled that President Ruto’s recent visit to Brussels marked a new beginning on the relationship between the EU and Kenya, which we hope to build, with key focus area being trade, security and investments and multilateralism, within the framework of global gateway.

Ambassador Peschke added that that it was a great honour to begin his work as the EU Ambassador to Kenya, noting that Kenya and EU can count on each other as reliable partners.
