EU Ambassadors meet with Hon. CJ Koome and team, accentuate strong support of the Judiciary in Kenya

The EU Ambassadors to Kenya H.E Henriette Geiger and other EU Member State Ambassador’s  were happy to exchange views with Hon. Chief Justice Martha Koome on Tuesday 24 May over lunch at the EU Residence in Nairobi.

The EU is a strong supporter of justice sector reform, rule of law, and the independence of the Judiciary in Kenya. Among many interesting topics discussed at the lunch were election preparedness, the EU’s PLEAD programme in support of the Kenyan Judiciary and access to justice, the fight against corruption, and how to improve commercial justice and thus the investment climate in Kenya.
