EU in Kenya Europe Day Live


Join us on Sunday 9 May 2021 for an online celebration of Europe Day on FaceBook Live

Join us this Sunday 9 May from 15:00 (Kenyan Time) for the Europe Day Live on The EU Delegation Kenya Facebook page, and thereafter, the launch of the Online European Film Festival.


Our hosts will be singer and actress Sanaipei Tande and performing artist Nyashinski. Various items will feature including:

Europe Day from 15:00:

  • National anthems and additional music performed by Katrin Hagemann, Deputy Ambassador, and Nairobi's Ghetto Classics.
  • Video messages by Chargée d’Affaires a.i Katrin Hagemann, the EIB Regional Representative and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative.

  • Video snapshots of EU Delegation staff.

  • Video message by Luisa Fragoso, Portuguese Ambassador (Portuguese rotating Presidency of the EU) and Chair of EU National Institutes of Culture Cluster in Kenya (EUNIC)
