Global progress to end child labour has stalled for the first time in 20 years. One in ten children in the world are victims of child labour, and the number is growing. Social protection is key to providing an environment to keep children away from this reality and the EU continues working with its international partners to this end.
The EU Ambassadors to Kenya H.E Henriette Geiger and other EU Member State Ambassador’s were happy to exchange views with Hon. Chief Justice Martha Koome on Tuesday 24 May over lunch at the EU Residence in Nairobi.
The Youth promoting peace initiative was formally launched in Nairobi on 12 May 2022. The project will be implemented in four counties of Nairobi, Mombasa, Marsabit and Garissa.
