At the initiative of Kuwait Oil Company and the UAE Embassy in Kuwait, EU Ambassador Anne Koistinen joined colleagues and friends from other diplomatic missions in Kuwait for a tree planting exercise in the beautiful Al-Abdaliya reserve. 

During the tree planting, EU Ambassador Anne Koistinen said: "Trees are the lungs of the planet. They play a vital role in maintaining the health & well-being of humans, animals and the planet. For that reason, the EU has put in place a biodiversity strategy, aiming to plant at least 3 billion additional trees in the EU by 2030".
