Press Statement by EU Ambassador to the State of Kuwait Anne Koistinen on the Passing of HH the late Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

On the occasion of the demise of His Highness the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, EU Ambassador Anne Koistinen issued the following statement: "I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Highness the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. On behalf of the European Union Delegation to the State of Kuwait, I would like to convey my sincere condolences to Al-Sabah Family, the Government of the State of Kuwait, and to the Kuwaiti people at this difficult time", she said.

On the occasion of the demise of His Highness the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, EU Ambassador Anne Koistinen issued the following statement: "I am deeply saddened by the passing of His Highness the late Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. On behalf of the European Union Delegation to the State of Kuwait, I would like to convey my sincere condolences to Al-Sabah Family, the Government of the State of Kuwait, and to the Kuwaiti people at this difficult time", she said. 

She concluded by saying that "His Highness the late Emir was a great leader who served his country for many years with unwavering dedication and commitment. He will be long remembered by all who work for regional stability and understanding between nations. I deeply value his friendship towards the European Union and I’m confident that his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of the people."
