Today, the President of the European Council Charles Michel held a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov. The parties discussed the current issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation between European Union and Kyrgyzstan.

Today, the President of the European Council Charles Michel held a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov. The parties discussed the current issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation between European Union and Kyrgyzstan.



In particular, Charles Michel and Sadyr Japarov discussed the schedule of bilateral and regional events, including the signing of Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the EU and the Kyrgyz Republic as well as the upcoming EU - Central Asia Economic Forum and the next high-level meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia and the President of the European Council.

The parties expressed mutual willingness to further strengthening ties between European Union and Kyrgyzstan in the priority areas of cooperation.
