The European Union (EU) is committed to fostering a more inclusive and participatory democracy in Lesotho. Financed under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI–Global Europe), the Equitable Lesotho initiative supports inclusive social protection and data-driven governance to reduce multidimensional poverty, strengthen national statistics, and promote more just and inclusive public policies.
