Putting Youth and Women at the Centre of Inclusive Economic Growth (PYWIEG)

The Democracy Works Foundation has partnered with the Federation of Women Lawyers to implement an action that will contribute to the development and effective implementation of policies, legal frameworks and strategies related to women and youth entrepreneurship and gender and youth inclusive economic development.

The overall objective of this project is to strengthen the socio-economic beneficiation and the rights of youth and women through improved enterprise support services. The specific objective is to build the capacity of women, youth and enterprise development focusing on civil society organizations in order to engage meaningfully in policy decision making. The action will be implemented for duration of 42 months in three districts of Lesotho.

The programme targets women and youth led enterprises, Enterprise development-focused CSOs, Women and youth-led CSOs/CBOs, Business Development Support service providers, Government Ministries and Parastatals, Local Authorities, Private Sector and development partners.
