Social Support for Resilience’ Programme - SoSuRe

SoSuRe is aligned to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It contributes primarily to the progressive achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 and 2 but also promotes progress towards goals 3, 5, 10 and 13.

The overall objective is 'To reduce poverty through enhancing resilience among the most vulnerable households in Malawi’

It has three specific objectives:

1: Increasing livelihood diversification and Enhancing food and nutrition security for labour-constrained [ultra-]poor households.

2: A better implemented and coordinated MNSSP

3: Increased poor and vulnerable households resilience to climate change.

7 districts (Mzimba, Mulanje, Nsanje, Chikwawa, Mwanza, Neno and Zomba).
