Mauritius : Launching of the Contest Pitch My EU Experience !

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Mauritius is launching the contest ‘Pitch my EU Experience’ inviting participants to talk about their experience of the European Union.

Who can participate?

The contest is open to all individuals aged between 18 and 35 who have participated in :

  • an Erasmus+ programme (Joint Master Degree, Mobility, etc.)

  • an education/training exchange programme in the EU 

  • a traineeship at the EU Delegation 

  • the Youth Sounding Board.

Participation is free.

Why participate?

This contest is an amazing opportunity to build your public speaking skills, inspire others through sharing your journey and connect with fellow participants.

Deadline for application: Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at 16:00 Mauritius time.

 

Screening and selection

  • Once the call closes on 19 November 2025, the Delegation will collect all applications.

  • An independent jury will select 3 winners on the basis of the relevance and power of the narrative. The selection will be based on the information provided in the 200-word description of your EU experience (to be provided in the Google form mentioned above).

Pitching session at the EU Alumni Night 

  • The 3 winners will share their experience during a 3-minute pitch during the EU Alumni Night.

  • They will receive their trophies and prizes on that occasion. 

  • All the participants will receive a certificate of appreciation.

Pitch My EU Experience is your chance to take the stage and showcase your story in 3 minutes !
