E ziua în care marcăm un an de rezistență a Ucrainei la invazia militară pe scară largă a Rusiei, agresiune care s-a transformat într-o catastrofă umanitară.

Ambasadorul Delegației Uniunii Europene, alături de ambasadorii statelor membre, și-a exprimat solidaritatea cu cei care luptă pentru libertatea și demnitatea lor. La Ambasada Ucrainei, oficialii au ținut un moment de reculegere și au depus flori în memoria victimelor războiului.

Thousands of people were killed or injured, and millions of civilians had to leave their homes in search of refuge abroad, including in the Republic of Moldova.

Today we marks a year of Ukraine's resistance to Russia's large-scale military invasion, an aggression that has turned into a humanitarian catastrophe.

The Ambassador of the European Union Delegation, together with Ambassadors of the Member States, expressed solidarity with those fighting for their freedom and dignity. At the Embassy of Ukraine, officials held a moment of silence and laid flowers in memory of the war victims.

On 24 February, Europe Café hosted the screening of the documentary "Oh, Sister!" ". The film reveals the courage of those who resist the Russian offensive, a tragedy that attacks their freedom.

The event was attended by the EU Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, representatives of resident embassies and Moldovan officials. They paid tribute to those fighting in Ukraine for their right to live in an independent state.
