From the Office to the Open Steppe: Representing the EU Across Mongolia
Dust, distance and determination: that's what defined E. Alyeksandra's 2026 season. While serving as a Trainee in the Political, Press and Information Section at the EU Delegation to Mongolia, she took on four of the country's toughest off-road races - and came away with three podium finishes and a season to remember.
Genghis Khan Rally Podium 2026
Her season began with the DZ Baja Desert Challenge, where she finished 3rd in the Women's Class, followed by 2nd place in the Women's Class at the Baja 150. She then competed in the Mongol Rally as the only female rider, before concluding the season with the Genghis Khan Rally.
Throughout the season, she has had the opportunity to represent the EU Delegation to Mongolia on the race track, proudly carrying the EU flag, diversity and determination with fellow competitors and the wider motorsport community.
The Dalanzadgad Baja-250 2026
The season concluded with the Genghis Khan Rally, held under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa. This year's edition marked the first time the rally welcomed international riders from Germany, Sweden and Japan, bringing international-standard racing to Mongolia. It was also an inspiring demonstration that motorsport brings together people across generations.

She finished 1st in the Women's Class and 9th out of 27 bikes overall, ending the season with a strong result. 🏆
Balancing her traineeship at the Delegation with a demanding racing season has been a unique experience, made possible by the encouragement and support of colleagues. The four races have offered an opportunity not only to challenge herself, but also to represent the EU Delegation in a different setting and connect with people through a shared passion for motorsport and adventure.
