The EU - Mozambique Political Dialogue discussed the security situation in Europe, particularly the situation in Ukraine and the consequences of the war on global food security, and committed to continue working together and stand up for an international rules-based order and a peaceful world.
Global progress to end child labour has stalled for the first time in 20 years. One in ten children in the world are victims of child labour, and the number is growing. Social protection is key to providing an environment to keep children away from this reality and the EU continues working with its international partners to this end.
The European Union reiterates its commitment to a constructive partnership with Mozambique, in support of local efforts to building a prosperous, sustainable, inclusive, peaceful and democratic country.
