New Voices, New Narratives in Public Policy Discourse

The project enhances civil society and media capacities to shape public discourse on governance and policy issues in Namibia. It introduces a media ecology training program and innovative policy dialogues to foster evidence-based advocacy. The initiative also facilitates community outreach using a mobile training and dialogue unit to engage rural and peri-urban communities.
Expected outcomes include a more active and aware civil society with a strengthened capacity of CSOs and media professionals in fact-based policy advocacy. The project incudes the development of innovative advocacy tools, including policy sprints and social media. The project further serves to boost awareness and public discourse on Namibia’s Access to Information (ATI) bill and related policy issues.
