Supporting Namport’s Digital and Green Transition
The project aims to support Namport’s transition to a landlord port model, enhancing its role as a strategic industrial and logistics hub for green hydrogen and critical raw materials. As Namibia strengthens its position as a regional trade gateway, this initiative will facilitate smart, clean, and secure investments in infrastructure and digital transformation. The project aligns with the EU Global Gateway strategy, which seeks to enhance sustainable connectivity between Africa and Europe.
This action will also contribute to Namibia’s national development goals, including increasing port efficiency, multimodal connectivity, and fostering industrial growth through an integrated maritime, rail, and road transport network.
