Magical sounds and atmosphere at Skopje’s City Park on Europe Day
On the (fresh spring) eve of Europe Day, the internationally acclaimed film composer, producer and pianist Duke Bojadziev and his friends held an open air concert in Skopje’s City Park.
Accompanied by piano, fellow musicians, including a 25-member orchestra, and two narrators, Bojadziev offered a fusion of his music, ranging from film soundtracks to chamber and orchestral pieces inspired by different cultures.
As interludes, his piano gave sound to fragments of the eternal love poetry of Rumi, recited in Macedonian and Albanian.
