About This Opportunity

Europe Day — also known as Schuman Day — is an annual celebration of peace and unity across the European continent. Here in Pakistan, the occasion brings together around 120 European and Pakistani dignitaries alongside key international partners. It is a genuine opportunity for companies and organisations to raise their profile and showcase their work through a meaningful sponsorship collaboration with the EU Delegation to Pakistan. The reception will be hosted by the European Union Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Raimundas KAROBLIS. 

Showcasing the EU finest gastronomy, this annual evening event will be held at the residence of EU Ambassador to Pakistan. The venue will offer our sponsors a unique setting with the opportunity to be part of an all exclusive by invite only event.

Eligibility Criteria

We welcome applications from both public and private organisations and companies, provided the following conditions are met:

• The sponsor's nature and activities must be consistent with the principles, values and commitments of the European Union.

• The sponsor's activities must not conflict with EU policies in areas such as foreign affairs, social welfare, health or the environment.

• The sponsorship must not give rise to any conflict of interest with the EU's mission and objectives.

• The sponsor must not be in a situation referred to in Articles 138(1) and 143(1) of Regulation (EU, Euratom) 2024/2509 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the European Union.

What Sponsors Can Expect from the EU Delegation

By signing the Corporate Sponsoring Agreement, the parties agree on the terms and conditions for the corporate sponsoring. 

The sponsors will be provided with the exposure, visibility and recognition in following ways:

• Sponsors name and logo will be prominently displayed at the reception venue.

• Sponsors will be acknowledged by the Ambassador for their contribution publicly during his speech.

• Sponsors will receive a number of invitations to extend to your own contacts, subject to prior notification of names to the EU Delegation for standard security and entry purposes.

Please note:

• Sponsors may not actively market their products or services during the event, nor deploy sales personnel for promotional activities on the day.

• Sponsors will not have any influence over the content or programme of the event.

Sponsor Commitments

Organisations selected as sponsors will be invited to contribute to the Europe Day event through the provision of goods or services.

Important: Only in-kind contributions will be accepted. Financial contributions are not permitted under the Financial Rules of the European Institutions.

Typical in-kind contributions may include:

This list is not exhaustive — sponsors are welcome to suggest other forms of in-kind support. All contributions must be agreed in advance with the EU Delegation. Every item provided must include transportation, security, liability insurance, set-up and removal, as well as any staffing needed to operate or oversee it during the event.

Sponsors are asked to declare the value of their in-kind contribution in either Euro (EUR) or Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Should a sponsor prefer not to specify particular goods or services, the EU Delegation will redirect them to pay invoices of the event's service providers directly, up to the agreed maximum contribution value.

Selection Process

The European Union Delegation to Pakistan will evaluate all applications based on the eligibility and selection criteria outlined above and will shortlist the organisations or companies that best align with the purpose and goals of the event. Selected sponsors will be required to sign a sponsorship agreement, and the Delegation may request additional details about their legal entity as part of this process.

The European Union Delegation to Pakistan reserves the right to decline any proposal where the nature of the sponsorship or the sponsor’s activities are considered incompatible with the EU’s institutional role, or where the proposed contribution is not deemed consistent with the purpose of Europe Day.

Deadline: 08^th April 2026 at 23:59     —     Subject line: “Europe Day 2026 Sponsorship Proposal”

Your proposal should include:

• A brief introduction to your organisation and what you do

• The type of goods or services you are proposing to sponsor

• A clear indication of the estimated value of your contribution, in EUR or PKR

• Your organisation’s contact details, including the name and email address of the primary point of contact

The EU Delegation will assess all applications in line with the eligibility and selection criteria, and will reach out to successful applicants to proceed with signing a Corporate Sponsorship Agreement.
