Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day marked by a viral ‘Stronger Together’ message from Team Europe Ambassadors

To celebrate Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, EU Ambassador Riina Kionka and Ambassadors from all EU Member States in Pakistan released a heartfelt video themed ‘Stronger Together.’ The video features them creating an art piece representing the strong partnership between Team Europe and Pakistan, with Ambassador Kionka playing Pakistan’s national anthem on her trumpet.

The video resonated widely, viewed by millions across Pakistan and beyond. It was broadcast extensively on both state and private TV channels, shared by digital platforms and promoted by government officials, ministers, leading journalists, influencers, and opinion leaders. The video went viral in WhatsApp groups and among the general public, especially Pakistan’s youth, who comprise over 60% of the population. For the fourth consecutive year, the tribute honours Pakistan’s national anthem and reflects the deepening ties between the EU and Pakistan.
