To strengthen the defense and protection of HRDs in the Philippines, especially women HRDs and to contribute to the efforts to mitigate the risks in their work amidst a worsening climate of impunity. It seeks to promote a Rights Based Approach and gender perspective by raising capacity and skills of the HRDs and support those who are most at risk and those who have become themselves victims of HR violations, in particular women and girls from a broad range of HRDs among land and environmental rights defenders, church people, Indigenous Peoples, lawyers, trade unionists etc. |

Sustainability of the Project |
This project is in partnership with member churches of the NCCP, and members of the NUPL and Hustisya, which will directly benefit and continue the human rights work even after the project. The trainings encourage skills that will enhance the capacity of victims, member of communities and organizations to respond to human rights work and crises. |
