Today, 11 June 2025, EU Ambassador Massimo Santoro reiterated EU’s commitment to enhance security and defense cooperation with the Philippines as he paid a courtesy call on Flag Officer-in-Command Jose Ma Ambrosio Quiatchon Ezpeleta. The meeting came after the European Union’s High Representative and Vice-President Kaja Kallas’ visit to the Philippines. High Representative conveyed the EU’s continued support for the Philippines’ maritime security and defense modernization agenda.
