Contextualised campaigns on “15 Ways to Protect Indigenous Peoples from Armed Conflict” Capacity building of IPOs on international humanitarian norms, land rights, protection strategies and peacebuilding. Technical support to IPOs to conduct social dialogue with local authorities on the protection of IPs. |

Sustainability of the Project |
Through capacity building and trainings and other concrete support actions, the action will venture to increase community confidence to take measures towards self-protection and respect towards humanitarian norms. By strengthening self-confidence, trust and accountability, the action will aim to encourage local IPOs to engage in social dialogue with relevant stakeholders, promoting social cohesion and contacts among various groups in the IP communities. Confidence is more resilient than the project cycle and is envisioned to remain firmly in place as a legacy of the action. |
