Overall Objective:

Contribute to safeguarding and advancing SRHR for young people (10-24) in Pasay City

 

Specific Objectives:

  • To improve knowledge, attitude, and health- seeking behavior of the young people, parents and teachers toward an integrated SRHR, including HIV and GBV

 

  • To improve access to adolescent-friendly integrated SRH services, including HIV and AIDS and GBV

 

  • To foster ownership and sustainability of project initiatives by local government of Pasay and/or CSOs

  • Children and young people aged 10-24

  • Gatekeepers
  • Teachers

Main activities (simplified – for publication)

  • Health promotion activities among young people, parents, gatekeepers and teachers
  • Capacity building of health service providers and provision of SRH services
  • Policy advocacy for integration of young people’s SRHR in local governance

Sustainability of the Project

  • Strengthened capacity of the service delivery network to deliver youth-friendly SRH services including improved referral system
  • Institutionalization of local legislations promoting and supporting young people’s SRHR
