The cultural programme featured a song composed by the most famous female Qatari musician, Dana Al Fardan, a poem written for the occasion by a young Qatari poet and a musical performance delivered by a Greek pianist and an Italian singer.

Another main pillar of the cultural offer proposed was the launching of an exhibition which features European and Qatari artists side by side, and that will continue running at the same venue until the end of May. Among the artists featured, the EU Delegation was proud to present for the first time artists belonging to the deaf community of Qatar.

As part of the exhibition, a masterclass by a European and a Qatari artist will be offered to young Qatari, European and other students of arts, including from the deaf and blind community of Qatar.
