The EU–Western Balkans Media Literacy Conference 2025 brought together more than 150 participants and speakers from across the Western Balkans, the European Union, and the Eastern Partnership to address the growing challenges of disinformation, foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI), and the impact of emerging technologies on democratic societies.

This year’s campaign highlights the need for additional efforts to prevent violence against women, demonstrates solidarity with the victims and support for those who protect them, but also brings testimonials of survivors who broke the vicious cycle. And thus sent the message that the story of violence can be changed – with personal courage and with the help of society.
