On June, 3 at 18:00 an open online lecture “Electoral evolution and ideological developments of the European Communist parties in the 20^th century: from post-WWII period to the post-Soviet era” will be held by Nikos Marantzidis, professor at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.

The event is organized as part of event series “Over the Barriers. Europe without Borders”. It is a joint project of the International Memorial and the EU Delegation to Russia.  The lecture will present the variety of these directions, as well as the rise of a new family in the European political scene during the last decades: the radical-left parties.
