Moscow FemFest 2021

The 5th educational festival about literacy and freedom of choice Moscow FemFest 2021 will take place online on 13-14 November with the EU Delegation to Russia as its general partner.

The festival offers a rich two-day programme that includes discussions, debates, workshops and live performances with speakers from Russia and the EU such as Chiara Corazza, Zara Harutyunyan, Nastya Krasilnikova, Kirill Martynov, Alessia Mosca, Marina Pisklakova-Parker, Alena Popova, Oksana Pushkina, Sussan Tamasebi and many others.

The first day will focus on gender equality worldwide and the current challenges and developments. The second day will be devoted to the economic security of women examining questions like unpaid labour and pay gaps in the workplace.

In addition to the main program of the festival, Online living-room of the EU Delegation to Russia will host mentoring sessions with experts on professional interaction and leadership development, the role of “soft skills” in women's personal development and the role of women in sustainable development. The main format of the living-room will be mentoring sessions from women who are activists or experts in issues related to the gender agenda.

Ivana Norsic, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Russia, will take part in the opening of the festival. As part of the parallel programme of the EU Delegation to Russia, there will be mentoring sessions with experts about professional networking and leadership development, the role of “soft skills“ in the personal development of women and women’s role in the sustainable development.

Simultaneous translation in Russian and English will be provided.
