Team Europe strengthens capacity of Rwanda Food and Drug Authority through Twinning cooperation with EU Member State agencies and critical lab equipment
The European Union launched EUR 2 million Twinning cooperation that will provide the Rwanda Food and Drug Authority (Rwanda FDA) with a peer-to-peer partnership including several EU Member State regulatory agencies.
Global progress to end child labour has stalled for the first time in 20 years. One in ten children in the world are victims of child labour, and the number is growing. Social protection is key to providing an environment to keep children away from this reality and the EU continues working with its international partners to this end.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Rwanda and the European Union (EU) have signed a funding agreement worth EUR 8 million to expand the socio-economic opportunities for youth.
