The European Union Delegation in Sierra Leone is seeking proposals for actions to strengthen local Civil Society Organisations’ (CSOs) engagement as actors of good governance and development in Sierra Leone.

The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:

  1. Strengthened capacities of local CSOs to engage in policy dialogue at national level and in dialogue, implementation and monitoring of EU and national development plans and programmes;
  2. Improved capacity and ability of local civil society partners to uphold and promote an enabling environment in Sierra Leone;
  3. Strengthened capacity of local CSOs to engage in gender equality and youth inclusion and strengthened capacity of local women's and youth partner CSOs.

 

The priority(ies) of this call for proposals are:

Lot 1: Support of actions in the area of Youth, Women, Vulnerable/Marginalised people in line with above objectives

Lot 2: Support of actions in the area of Education in line with above objectives

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 5.053.500.

The deadline for submission of Concept Notes is 10 June 2022, 5:00pm local time.

To apply for this Call for Proposals organisations must use the electronic system (PROSPECT) developed by the European Commission to facilitate the submission of applications (see section 2.2.2 of the guidelines).

To help applicants familiarise themselves with the PROSPECT system and the call guidelines before the online submission, an information session (virtual) will be organised on the 13 May 2022 by the EU Delegation to Sierra Leone.  Should you be interested in the information session, please send an email by 10 May 2022 to DELEGATION-SIERRA-LEONE-CFP@eeas.europa.eu indicating: name, surname, and email address of the persons who are going to participate as well as their organisation (max. two participants per organisation). The session is free of charge; no costs incurred by the applicants for attending this information session are reimbursable.
