Conference on Data Protection

On Wednesday 6th November 2019, the European Union in Singapore and the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore (PDPC) jointly host a conference on data protection.
The event brings together representatives from the public and private sectors to share knowledge and experiences about how companies can benefit from embracing robust data protection laws and transform it into a competitive advantage.

Mr Yeong Zee Kin, Deputy Commissioner, PDPC and Mr Bruno Gencarelli, Head of the International Data Flows and Protection Unit, Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, European Commission, will participate in the conference and deliver keynote addresses. Ambassador of the European Union to Singapore Barbara Plinkert will deliver the welcome remarks.
