1. Going Green on Europe Day: We start the day with a joint #TeamEurope tree planting exercise in partnership with NParks. Minister for Transport and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations S. Iswaran is the Guest of Honour. Minister Iswaran, EU Ambassador to Singapore Iwona Piórko, Ambassadors of EU Member States and Ambassador of Ukraine will be accompanied by youth in this tree planting exercise as we mark the European Year of Youth. #EuropeDay #EuropeDay20222. For peace and freedom, we open this year’s European Film Festival opening with Mother of Apostles from Ukraine. The festival runs from 12-26th May at the iconic independent cinema space The Projector. In the European Year of Youth we deepen our engagement with youth by showcasing alongside the main festival films, student short films from three schools in Singapore.
