Mogadishu, Somalia - To mark National Tree Planting Week, Francesca Di Mauro, Ambassador of the European Union to Somalia, and Ahmed Omar Mohamed, State Minister of Environment and Climate Change, planted a tree at the EU Diplomatic Compound in Mogadishu.

The initiative highlights the shared commitment of the European Union and Somalia to climate action, environmental protection, and sustainable development. It also reflects ongoing cooperation to strengthen resilience to climate change and promote greener practices.
