The gathering – in person and virtual – will coincide with the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

With master of ceremonies comedian Albertus Louw running the programme, the function, for 150 invited guests, will feature impactful climate change-related entertainment and keynote speakers.

The event will feature an innovative and powerful curated art exhibition telling the story of Africa’s climate resilience and innovation, with art by Pretoria visual artist Setlamorago Mashilo and facilitated by CRTVE Development, a pan-African organisation that harnesses the power of art, technology and policy in development campaigns and advocacy, geared towards Africa-focused and -led sustainable projects.

The exhibition will be complemented by a moving musical performance by South African singer-songwriter and poet Busiswa.
