10 Years of EU-RoK Strategic Partnership Celebration Logo Design Competition

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea holds a logo design contest to celebrate 10 years of EU-RoK Strategic Partnership. We are looking forward to having creative ideas.

 

Background

 

EU-RoK Strategic Partnership is established based on the 2010 EU-RoK Framework Agreement. With the last ten years of Strategic Partnership, the European Union and the Republic of Korea have been cooperating not only on protecting democracy and human rights but also in other global issues including international security and climate change. The logo design contest is to celebrate ten years of the strong partnership between the European Union and the Republic of Korea and plan for the future of the EU-RoK relationship. 

 

  • Submission Period: April 12 – May 03, 2020 
  • Who can apply? : Anyone who resides in the Republic of Korea and is interested in the EU-RoK cooperation
  • How to apply? :  Please submit JPG image file of the logo design with design explanation (maximum one A4 page, either written in English or Korean) via E-mail (E-mail address: Delegation-rep-of-Korea-pi@eeas.europa.eu ) * Please write your contact information for the application. 
  • Screening Process: The judging panel consists of the EU Ambassador to the RoK and the EU delegation staff 
  • Judging criteria: How much the design represents 10 years of EU-RoK Strategic Partnership 
  • Winner Announcement: Europe Day, May 09, 2020, on the EU delegation official website and social media channels  
  • Prize for the winner: iPad Pro with Apple Pencil & Invitation to the EU delegation (located in Seoul, the date will be confirmed later) 

 

The winning logo design will be used in the official signature of the EU delegation to the RoK and its promotion for the next 1 year. 

 

*Notice for copyright issue*

 

- Winner (copyright holder) allows the EU delegation to the RoK to use the design to copy and send it as much as needed to fulfill the purpose and goal of this contest
- The EU delegation to the RoK can copy and send the winning design for one year starting from the day of the winner announcement. The EU delegation to the RoK can upload the design on the official website and use it for promotional materials. 
- Participants take full responsibility for any copyright orintellectual property rights dispute over the submitted design 

 

*Following applications will not be considered: applications that are submitted after the deadline, applications that are not JPG file, applications that are without design explanation. 


*No award ceremony will be held due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Only the winner will be invited to the EU delegation to the RoK later in the second half of the year.
