EU Ambassador Pays Science, Technology and Research Visit to Daejeon, Sejong

EU Ambassador to Korea H.E. Ms Maria CASTILLO-FERNANDEZ and Christophe BESSE, Minister Counsellor and Head of the Trade Section at the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea visited Daejeon and Sejong, South Korean cities for research and innovation. As the first visitor to Daejeon Institute of Science and Technology for Enterprise and People (DISTEP), since its opening on 4 Feb., Ambassador CASTILLO-FERNANDEZ promised that the EU will support DISTEP leading Daejeon to a global innovative city. Ambassador also visited the Korea Institute of Energy Research and Science and Technology Policy Institute in Sejong, where she met with the woman leader in research, President Miock MUN.
