The EU Green Diplomacy Week is back with #TeamEurope !

We are pleased to announce the very first edition of the EU GREEN DAY FESTIVAL in South Korea! Join us for a day of green festivities, learnings and collective action in the heart of Seoul!

EU GREEN DAY FESTIVAL 2025

Join us for a day of learning, exchange, and celebration as we mark the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement!

At the occasions EU Green Diplomacy Weeks, the festival will bring together the European and Korean communities to discover, experience, and engage in eco-conscious activities, while learning about European countries’ approaches to climate and environment.

  • Explore and Learn: Visit exhibitions from EU Member States and Korean partners showcasing solutions for the green transition and sustainable lifestyles.
  • Participate and Act: Join interactive workshops on climate change, biodiversity, and environmental protection.
  • Get Involved: Take part in a plogging event to help keep our surroundings clean and contribute to a healthier urban environment.
  • Play and Discover: Complete the Stamp Challenge to learn fun facts about EU countries and win eco-friendly gifts.
  • Meet and Exchange: Connect with high-level representatives from the EU, its Member States, and Korea who are driving the global climate and green agenda.
  • Listen and Reflect: Attend the Roundtable Discussion commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, reflecting on progress and future ambitions.

[Plogging]  EU x Let’s Do It Korea, Together We Plog!

  • Practice environmental protection by collecting trash in the streets and serve the community with volunteers from Let’s do It Korea
  • Venue & Organiser: Departure and return at Let’s Do It Korea booth.

  • Programme:
  • 14:00-15:00: “Walking Together”: plogging session in the surroundings of the festival
  • 15:00-17:00: “Connecting Cultures”: Networking session at the festival

  • The networking session is optional, registered participants are only required to attend the plogging session.

[Climate Fresk] 

  • Learn about climate change through a participatory workshop that builds awareness and understanding of climate change. Instead of one-way teaching, you’ll learn by collaborating in teams through a card-based game!
  • Participants arranged in groups of seven, and accompanied with a certified trainer from Climate Fresk Korea
  • Language: Korean & English
  • Venue: Main stage
  • Programme:
    13:30-13:40: The story behind Climate Fresk + an ice-breaker
    13:40- 15:30: Build the Fresk, guided by the facilitator
    15:30-16:00: Creative phase: decorate/name your Fresk + short break
    16:00-17:00: Discussion: share feelings, reflect on insights, and identify personal & collective solutions
