Call for Proposals under the MMD Grant Facility
The second Call for Proposals under the MMD Grant Facility has officially been launched.

💰 Funding available
The overall indicative budget for this Call is EUR 600,000, funded by DG INTPA under the Africa-EU Migration and Mobility Dialogue (MMD) Support Programme. Individual grants will range from EUR 100,000 to EUR 150,000. Financing of up to 100% of eligible costs may be granted, where duly justified.
🎯 Scope of projects
Eligible actions should:

Contribute to the operationalisation of Migration and Mobility Dialogues (Rabat, Khartoum, C2CMMD) and/or generate knowledge, research, and policy inputs

Align with one or more JVAP priority domains, or address transversal themes (e.g. climate migration, migration and gender, migration and health)

Be implemented in up to 3 countries, with at least one African Union Member State (activities may also take place in the EU when targeting diaspora)
- Have a maximum duration of 6 months (actions should be completed by 1 March 2027)
🤝 Who can apply

Civil society organisations and non-state actors operating on a non-profit basis (including NGOs, diaspora organisations, social enterprises, universities, research centres, etc.)
- Lead applicants must:
- Be established for at least 2 years
- Be registered in an AU or EU Member State

Applications may include one co-applicant (an AU-based co-applicant is mandatory for EU-based lead applicants, unless they are a diaspora organisation, whereas AU-based lead applicants are not required to have a co-applicant) and may include affiliated entities.

Organisations that have been awarded a grant, either as lead applicant or co-applicant under the 1st Call for Proposals of the MMD Grant Facility, are not eligible to apply.

- Applications must be submitted by 1 May 2026 at 17:00 (Vienna time) via the ICMPD Electronic Application Platform at this link: https://intendhost.co.uk/icmpd/aspx/Tenders/Appraisal.
- Each organisation may participate in only one application under this Call, whether as lead applicant, co-applicant, or affiliated entity.
