Ambassador Berger’s visit to Van started with a courtesy visit to Governor Mehmet Emin Bilmez. In a bilateral meeting the two discussed latest developments in EU TR relations and the impact of EU funded projects in the region.

Ambassador Berger also paid a courtesy visit to the Metropolitan Municipality of Van and met with Acting Mayor Mustafa Avcı.
