A new set of activities will be supported under the Civil Society Facility and Media Programme 2018-2019 in Turkey. With a 35 MEUR budget, EU will fund actions to empower active citizenship and strengthen civil society for the promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms. The Civil Society Facility will support human rights monitoring and advocacy and include a specific framework for monitoring gender equality in different fields. It will also provide tools to strengthen organizational and institutional capacities of CSOs and increase their ability to network and engage in joint actions in selected sectors.
