Natasha (Natalya Sindeyeva), 35, is a newly rich, successful woman looking for fame, reputation, and the and a way to realise her dreams. She decides to launch an independent TV station in Putin’s Russia. Natasha hires oppositional reporters and minorities and her “baby” Dozhd TV quickly becomes the lone island of political and sexual freedom.

Vera Krichevskaya
Born in 1974 in Leningrad. She is an award-winning television director and co-founder of Dozhd TV Russia, the only independent private TV Channel in Russia. She has worked as a TV programme director and producer at ICTV Channel, 24DOC TV and NTV Channel. She has won several awards for her documentaries such as "The Citizen Poet", "The Man Who Was Too Free" and "The Case".
