The implementation of the EESP SOP for the IPA II period will continue until the end of 2025, with a total budget of €323.6 million, including contributions from both the EU and Türkiye.

The overall objective of the EESP SOP is to support the progress of Türkiye toward the European social model and to ensure the alignment of the country with the EU acquis in Employment, Education and Social Policy.

The specific objectives of the programme are to focus on the shortcomings of the employment and labour market to produce policies aimed at social inclusion and social protection, to promote decent work, to enhance the quality of education and training systems by improving social dialogue, and to facilitate access to education and training.

The €323.6 million fund provided under the EESP SOP aims at remedying the shortcomings of the labour market; improving the effectiveness of social dialogue, social protection and inclusion policies, and the quality and accessibility of education and training systems. The following actions are planned within this framework:

• 250,000 individuals will receive services and training.
• 25,000 public employees will be trained.
• Awareness-raising activities will reach 400,000 people.
• The capacity of local actors will be increased.
