Recap

One day, teenager Magda offers her expensive necklace to a sick child in the hospital where she volunteers. Her father is certain that she is lying about this act of generosity. When Magda proves her innocence, her father feels ashamed and guilty, but he is unable to admit that he was wrong. As a result, their relationship becomes strained, and their past decisions lead to irreversible outcomes, causing chaos and turmoil.

Emanuel Pârvu

Emanuel Pârvu was born in 1979 in Bucharest, Romania. He studied acting at the National University of Theatre and Film. In addition to roles in films by renowned Romanian directors, Pârvu works as a theater and film director plus holds a doctorate in dramaturgy. His first feature film as a director, Meda or The Not So Bright Side of Things (2017), was awarded Best Director and Best Actor at the Sarajevo Film Festival.
