A series of capacity building projects were implemented with an objective to improve the technical knowledge and background of experts within the General Directorate of EU Financial Programmes. Within these projects roadmaps were prepared; meetings were organised; management information system was established and managed and need for human resources were met. Some of these projects have already been completed but the projects still being implemented are providing a strong support for the Programme Authority.
As well as strengthening the capacity of the Operating Structure, the projects aim to enhance the capacity of the final beneficiaries supported by the Programme, and training and consultancy services are provided in this context.
