Three Grant Schemes are Launched to Improve Working Conditions, Quality of Education and Certification of Labour Force in Turkey
Under the Employment, Education and Social Policies Sectoral Operational Programme funded by IPA, the following grant call for proposals have been launched and currently accepting applications.
Improving occupational health and safety grant scheme has total budget of €6M. Objective is to improve occupational health and safety conditions and implementation of coherent and comprehensive strategies. The programme will support actions to improve working conditions, constitute safety culture at workplaces, support human resources development, underline the importance of unionization, raise awareness, reach out the employers, employees and relevant stakeholders at local level for mining sector and very hazardous sectors. Type of eligible applicants are NGOs, professional organisations and trade unions, universities, vocational and technical high Schools in relevant fields and international (inter-governmental) organisations.
For each project the size of grant will be €75.000 to €200.000 and the duration will be 12 to 18 months. Deadline for applications is 04.03.2019
Increasing the quality of special education services for inclusive education grant scheme has total budget of €7M. The programme will support students with special education needs to access and participate to education in equal conditions with their peers. Activities to increase the capacity of teachers, prepare training materials, increase the awareness of teachers, families, school managers, and establish networks and partnership mechanisms in the field of special education and/or inclusive education will be eligible for funding. Type of eligible applicants include relevant NGOs, education and training institutions, universities , professional organizations, local authorities and international (inter-governmental) organisations.
For each project, the size of grant will be €75.000 to €150.000 and the duration will be 12 to 18 months. Deadline for applications is 15.04.2019
VOC-Test Centres-III grant scheme has total budget of €5M. The programme will support development and/or revision of national occupational standards and national qualifications through establishment of transparent and quality assured “Occupational Standards Development, Vocational Knowledge and Skills Testing and Certification Centres”. Types of eligible applicants include non-governmental organizations (NGOs), professional organizations and trade unions.
For each project, the size of grant will be €150.000 to €250.000 and the duration will be 16 to 18 months. Deadline for applications is 27.05.2019
For all the grant schemes, actions need to take place in Turkey.
