Tree Planting Ceremony for Europe Day

A "Tree Planting Ceremony for Europe" was held recently in Yenimahalle to mark 9 May Europe Day as part of the EU Communication Strategy (ABIS) in cooperation with the Directorate of EU Affairs, the Ministry for Agriculture and Forestry, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organizations (FAO) and the Delegation of the EU to Turkey. 

The ceremony was attended by the EU Directorate's General Director in charge of Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation Bulent Ozcan, the Deputy Head of the Delegation of the EU to Turkey Counsellor Gabriel Munuera Vinals, numerous ambassadors and diplomats from missions in Ankara and various other guests.
