The Turkish National Rural Development Network funded from IPARD is holding a content rich online event from 7 – 9 December.

The Turkish National Rural Development Network funded from IPARD is holding a content rich online event from 7 – 9 December.

High level officials will open this unique meeting: the Head of EU Delegation in Ankara, Ambassador Meyer-Landrut, Ambassador Kaymakci, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mr Pakdemirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey.

The event will feature a virtual project tour and interviews with some of the best IPARD projects promoters in Turkey. The plenary will cover the IPARD experience of Turkey, the EU rural development policies, and the European and Turkish national rural development networks. 

The thematic sessions will cover the organisation of short supply chains, definition of rural areas, rural entrepreneurship and innovation, rural tourism and LEADER. A wide range of Turkish stakeholders will participate and the relevant EU examples will be shown.

English/Turkish interpretation is provided and the event is open to the public.
