Pollution is a problem for one of the largest lakes of Turkey, Lake Van. The Van EU Information Center and the Lake Van Activists organised a series of events aimed at raising public awareness.
With the support of Bitlis province and other district municipalities which are on the shores of Lake Van Basin such as İpekyolu, Edremit, Gevaş,Tuşba Erciş, Tatvan, Adilcevaz & Ahlat, cycling tours and a four-night camping activity is organised on this route between 22-26 July.
