Recap
After years of seclusion, the arrival of tomatoes brings excitement to the village, and its thirty-three senior residents must make the most of the opportunity. Alexandros plays Wagner in the fields to help the tomatoes grow, markets the tomatoes using stories, and convinces people from all over the world to visit Elias. With humor and poetry, When Tomatoes Met Wagner effectively communicates to the viewer the power of human relationships and the importance of reinventing oneself during challenging times.
