Recap
Tiny bark beetle enjoys simple life in the forest. However, after a fire breaks out, the forest burns down, she gets separated from her family and also loses her arm during the escape. She finds refuge in a children's school. Now lost and alone, she has to face the world of giants on her own.

Eva Matejovičová
She graduated from the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in the Animation Department at the same school. Her first film, Sanctuary (2021), was screened at many festivals and received several awards. Writing Home is her second film.
