Highlighting a rice project in Iringa, Tanzania

We are continuing to celebrate Europe Day 2020 throughout this week and today are highlighting a rice project in Iringa, which is boosting farmers’ incomes. Funded by the European Union and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

The initiative, is known as the RICE Project in short, which stands for;

Reduce loses;

Improve practices for;

Competitiveness in the market to;

Enhance livelihoods.
